Tick these off before you ask for a steel price. The more you send, the faster and sharper the quote.
- Structural engineer's calculations - the member sizes, grades and connection details
- Structural and architectural drawings - plans, sections and any steel details
- Site address and postcode - for delivery planning and our coverage area
- Access notes and photos - narrow side returns, terraced streets, parking, lifting restrictions
- Finish required - primer, hot-dip galvanising, powder coat, intumescent fire protection
- Supply only, or supply and install
- Programme - when the steel is needed on site, and any phasing
- Quantities for repeat items - balconies, balustrade runs, lintels
- Who the main contact is - you, your builder or your architect
- Anything unusual - listed building, live retail premises, working hours limits
